Who Am I?
Hello! My name is Adanya Bell, and I am your new WIN Intern! I am currently a graduating senior attending Clark Atlanta University with a concentration in Marketing. I am from Clayton County, Georgia. Digital marketing is an innovative industry that I want to experience! I would describe myself as open-minded, organized, and creative. My strengths are adaptability, communication, problem-solving, and determination. In comparison, my weaknesses include self-criticism and procrastination. I also like to learn new skills and hobbies!
In My Free Time...
1. I like to design graphics.
2. I like to paint.
3. I like to listen to music (r&b).
Why Digital Marketing?
I completed my first internship last fall at EmpowerHer Firm as a Digital Marketing & Communications Intern. As an intern, I analyzed social media analytics and trends. With this information, I used my creativity to post & edit engaging content while communicating with the audience. I also produce my own YouTube videos, such as lifestyle and hair content. I love to create thumbnails that grab attention and hopefully have a community on that platform. These experiences solidified my love for Social Media Marketing. I am intrigued by the significance of target audiences and how they relate to a brand’s identity and digital presence. Such as using audience analytics to support the creation of digital content and build authentic customer relationships.
In the Future...
Since I graduate December 2026, I have been deciding what career I’d be most interested in post-grad. This includes email marketing and social media Analytics. In the future I plan to be proficient in SEO and CRM tools, Email Marketing, social media marketing, and creating/auditing campaigns.
I chose to be a WINtern because I want to be a part of a community that creates a space for women to build themselves professionally and share ideas. I want to use the resources given and my skills to help other women and myself grow overall. Being able to collaborate with the other WINterns is a great opportunity as well. I also hope to take part in volunteering opportunities. I am excited to meet my first-ever mentor, hoping that we can learn from each other and create a meaningful bond!
