Dr. Manuela Jimenez, affectionately known as “Nela,” is a distinguished educator, leader, and advocate for women’s empowerment. Residing in Woodbridge, New Jersey, she has dedicated her career to addressing inequalities within educational institutions and supporting aspiring minority leaders across diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Jimenez holds degrees from Rowan University, Montclair State University, and Rutgers University. In 2024, she earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) with a focus on the leadership journeys of Latinx women in K-12 school principalship. Her research emphasizes the importance of challenging negative perceptions and promoting inclusive leadership practices.
Beyond academia, Dr. Jimenez gained recognition as a candidate in the Miss New Jersey Pageant, where she advocated for empowering young women, particularly those from minoritized backgrounds. She also earned a spot in Who’s Who in America, highlighting her significant contributions to education and leadership.
