  • My Journey: Trials and Triumphs!

Many of you know me as the WIN NJ leader and program manager. Plus, you know me as a social media strategist and a #1 Best Selling Author, but I thought I’d take a moment to share my backstory. How I started and ended up with the success that I’ve achieved today! It wasn’t easy, as I had many speed bumps along the way. Some of those include health crisis, financial crisis, and relationship issues. I am an autoimmune warrior. I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Thyroid disease, Celiac disease, and Myasthenia Gravis. Basically, it boils down to endocrinology, rheumatology, and neurological problems. I’ve been through RAI (radioactive iodine) treatment, almost went blind, and was wheelchair bound. Now, western medicine wasn’t working very well for me. So, to become healthy, I had to research and find alternative treatments. (This is why I’m a holistic health advocate today!) Discovering naturopathic medicine, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and massage therapy was a major turning point in getting healthier. Now, to back track just a bit… My health issues began right as I was going to start college. This affected my ability to achieve getting a degree because I went out on medical leave. As a result, I turned to online learning years later and have a few certificates under my belt. However, this combination led to difficulties in finding a job later on. As a consequence, I was dependent rather than independent. I had to lean on family for help, which I appreciated, but it was difficult to accept. I had to find alternative ways to make money. That’s when I started contract virtual assistant work. As the years went on, my skill kept evolving, the more experienced I became. This allowed me to open my own business, Sarah’s Social Strategy LLC. That’s how I ended up becoming social media marketing strategist you all know today. Next up was my relationship with my ex fiancé, which lasted for a decade. It was good half the time, and the other half was toxic. There were a few mental health issues that deeply affected our romantic relationships. Plus, I had step children, and an ex wife to contend with as well. Luckily, we broke up during Covid. After that my life changed drastically for the better! I moved back in with family, and ended up needing a total hysterectomy, but it was one of the best things to happen to me. I was finally pain free and not at risk for hemorrhaging. Plus, simultaneously I met my current boyfriend, and I couldn’t be happier. Finally, a normal, healthy relationship, and today we own our own home! In addition, I’m a pet parent to a Bombay cat named, Mitsy. I’m also a dog animal lover that’s why I do some pet sitting on the side! As for some extra details, I enjoy reading, sewing, and I’m originally from Brooklyn.

  • Celebrating My Mother's History Month

My Education Struggle Who sacrificed in helping to overcome my life challenges? Why did this person help me to be where I'm at today? First, I congratulate my mother for helping me through this challenging journey. Since three years old, I was diagnosed with autism, making it difficult for me to study, memorize, read, speak, listen, understand, focus, and make friends at school. At elementary school, I never said a word, and I never knew I was there for education and thought it was a punishment. My Mother's Help My mom was working those times, and then she procrastinated for my reasons. She sacrificed in raising and helping me instead of continuing to work. My mother was taking me to and picking me up from school. She convinced the Unified School District to get me into a special education program and stepped up for me to prevent bullying. After that, I continued my education and gained interaction skills. I eventually made friends, educated myself, and graduated from kinder to university undergraduate program. My Mother's Inspiration I wouldn't be at the top of the mountain today without my mother. She inspired my sister to do the same as a single mother and have her daughters graduating high school. That inspiration will be passed on to the future generations. Today, let's congratulate every mom in this beautiful world who has done a great job supporting their children through difficult times with education/health and making them feel special.

  • Not your typical SEO - Insight about boosting my business on WeChat

Have you ever envisioned an app merging the functionalities of Google, Instagram, TikTok, FaceTime, and messaging? WeChat, a popular Chinese application, does just that. Offering users a diverse array of features such as messaging, shopping, and more, WeChat profoundly influences the search landscape by supplying users with a wealth of data and content. Background: I'm Choinam Zheng, currently interning as a social media marketer at W.I.N. Additionally, I manage the social media accounts for a dance company named PHOENIX based in China. Since 2014, PHOENIX has been dedicated to teaching children dancing, starting from preschool age up to high school. Our repertoire includes a variety of styles such as Chinese traditional dances, folk dances, ballet, and hip-hop. As we expanded, we encountered challenges in reaching more target audiences. This blog delves into the background research I've initiated to address this issue. Research: In exploring avenues utilized by businesses similar to PHOENIX to engage their audiences, I've found a prevalent strategy involves leveraging platforms like WeChat, a multifunctional application. As combining every functions people want to use, the platform also offers in-app search that make users lean on searching within the app instead of traditional search engines. WeChat reach 800 million monthly active users on WeChat Search in 2022, marking a 54% increase in search volume compared to the previous year. Notably, WeChat Search significantly contributes to the growth of followers for public accounts, with a 27% share. Action: Considering the local context, individuals seeking information on dance classes for their children frequently turn to WeChat Search. Recognizing this, I am taking proactive steps to optimize PHOENIX's presence on WeChat, focusing on enhancing search engine optimization (SEO) for our blog accounts. By strategically aligning our content with relevant dance categories, I aim to improve visibility and ensure PHOENIX appears prominently in search results, facilitating easier discovery for potential customers seeking dance classes for their children. Those techniques are essential for my career in teaching students, and I also want to promote myself to a Walmart market manager position in the future.
