- A Little About Me!
Hi everyone! I’m Daniela, and I am very excited to start this program and learn more about your organization! I’m a rising senior at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, and while looking for internships for the summer, it was also really important to me to find a position that would introduce me to more than just professional experience. I found that in the WIN community, and I am very excited to begin working in such a women-centered organization! I’m currently majoring in Communication, and I decided to specialize in Public Relations after doing some social media and outreach work for the restaurant I waitressed for at home. Beyond Schoolwork Aside from my major, I am also a part of a few clubs and a sorority at school. I was recently elected to be on my sorority’s executive board for the 2026 year, which was very exciting. Being on the executive board has helped teach me to juggle responsibilities outside of my schoolwork during the school year and has brought me closer to my chapter, helping out with events and deadlines behind the scenes. This experience has also allowed me to meet my roommates who are in other organizations and has overall helped me break out of my shell and meet new groups of people I wouldn’t otherwise have the chance to meet. My Favorite Things The Beach My family owns a shore house on the Jersey Shore and annual trips there since I was a kid have made the beach my absolute favorite place to visit Lilies A little on the simpler side, but I always have a small vase of lilies displayed in my room Reading During the school year, it can be tricky to keep up with recreationally, but in the summer I can fly through books almost weekly Music I have spent years discovering new music and have a playlist for any situation or feeling that you can think of Plans for the Season Outside of the program this Summer I plan to continue to work at the restaurant and try to get some relaxing downtime by going to the beach and trying to advance in yoga. One fun fact about me is that I taught myself how to crochet, and in addition to my plans and responsibilities, I am attempting to finish a summer-themed blanket before I return to school in August. We will see how that goes. Hopefully, I can finish! My social media is below if you would like to connect! www.linkedin.com/in/daniela-zehnder https://www.instagram.com/danielaazehnder/
- My Visual Journey into Digital Marketing
Hey, I'm Ailynn Jones. Storytelling has always been at the center of everything I do. It just took me a while to realize digital marketing was part of that story. As a recent graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette who studied animation and creative writing, I’m currently on a journey of exploring marketing in the digital space. Yes, it was strange pivoting away from animation close to graduation, but the more I sat with it, the more it made sense. Figuring out how to make someone care about a story, whether that story belongs to a character or a brand, is what I love doing. It is what drives everything I pursue. Where Creativity Meets Marketing I'm truly grateful to be jumpstarting my career in marketing, diving into the questions that make this field so fascinating: 1. What makes someone stop scrolling? 2. What ‘hits’ for the algorithm? 3. How to give a brand its own personality? These are the kinds of challenges I was already drawn to, and they also happen to be essential if I want to someday build my own art studio in the digital space. And even when working on the back-end side of a business, my creative background just keeps showing up in ways even I don’t expect. Years of thinking about pacing, character development, and visual storytelling translate surprisingly well into how a brand communicates its narrative. Good marketing, like good animation, is really just good storytelling wearing a different outfit. What I'm Always Working On Outside of professional projects, I am constantly creating. A few things you'll usually find me doing is: ● Drawing and developing original characters, exploring how their stories might grow over time ● Gaming and studying how interactive storytelling engages its audience ● Moderating for content creators and contributing custom artwork for their channels That last one has taught me more than I expected about community building and consistency, two things that connect directly back to the core principles of marketing and branding. Always Growing, Always Learning One thing about me is that I am full of ambition. I love to keep expanding both my creative and marketing skill sets. Right now, beyond animation and my digital marketing internship experience, I am actively exploring: ● Photography ● Graphic design ● Writing The reason I want to learn so much is simple: in a creative career, everything connects back to everything else. Creativity and marketing are not separate pursuits for me. They are two expressions of the same underlying drive to tell stories that matter. Let's Connect If you'd like to follow along with my work, you can find me on Instagram and Facebook. I also have a LinkedIn profile, where I share many projects and assignments completed for past clients. Drop a comment, send a message, or just say hi. I'm always open to connecting with people who are passionate about creativity and storytelling.
- LeAnne Crouse: WIN’s Newest Social Media Marketing Intern
“I’m excited to continue my educational and professional journey as one of WIN’s newest social media marketing interns.” A Little About Me Some people reach their destination in a straight line. I’ve taken a few detours, and it has given me a world of perspective. My name is LeAnne Crouse (as mentioned in the title), I'm twenty-two years old, and a senior at Bloomsburg University. My major is Business Administration, specializing in Management, and minoring in PR and Strategic Comm. My educational background is a big reason why I’m so eager to dig into the never-ending opportunities WIN has to offer: Networking Mentorship Programs Creating Content (blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases) Curating Marketing Strategies Honing a Strong Sense of Business Planning Creating and Editing Short-Form Videos Outside of academics, here are a few things that define me: 1. I’m a people person. Whether I’m meeting new people on campus or traveling abroad, I love connecting with others. Let's Connect! with others! LinkedIn Instagram Facebook 2. I adore traveling. I’ve visited Puerto Rico four times and a few states across the U.S. Every trip has been a blessing in expanding my worldview and reminding me how small your world can become if you don't step outside your own environment. 3. Sunsets or sunrises? This isn’t Teen Vogue, but I hold sunsets near and dear to my heart. My favorite colors; pinks, reds, and oranges are always blindingly obvious. And it just so happens the best memories with the best people always follow. The People Who Shaped Me My sisters. Being the youngest of 3 girls came with a lot of built-in mentorship. Both of my sisters showed me what it looks like to: Walk into unfamiliar spaces with confidence Make friends and connections wherever life takes me Advocate for myself Say yes to opportunities when they are presented These are not only lessons I use in my personal life, but also teaching moments that I utilize in my professional life as well. My nephews. My nephews are only 3 years old and 7 months old, but they have given me so much in life already. Growing up, I was always the “baby,” so naturally I was being led in life by the people I looked up to. When my nephews were born, it changed everything, because now I have two little boys who look up to me! And they have given me so many qualities I had never explored before. I have a deeper capacity to care for others and lead with empathy. I have acquired the ability to stay composed under pressure, and above all, they’ve allowed me to embrace change head-on. Sometimes the best lessons come from the smallest teachers. My Connection to the Community Community work has been consistent throughout my college experience. I have had the honor of volunteering and contributing to organizations, including: Bloomsburg’s Women Shelter March of Dimes Children's hospital donation initiatives Salvation Army Angel Tree Other non-profit efforts My work with the community is a huge reason WIN felt like the next step for me. Why WIN? I believe that the connections we make in life, professionally and personally, are what shape our futures. Being a part of an organization that encourages those connections is an organization I am proud to be a part of. I believe that we should take full advantage of what's in front of us and use it to grow into better versions of ourselves
