Getting Started with the WIN Program
Joining the WIN program has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me so far. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect going in, but being paired with my mentor, Nasya, made everything feel more exciting and meaningful right away. She is the founder of Mirakul Moments, and from the beginning, she created an environment where I felt comfortable being creative and asking questions.
What I Work On
Most of my role centers around content creation, which is something I genuinely enjoy. I spend a lot of time designing graphics and helping come up with ideas for social media content. It’s been a very hands-on experience, and I’ve learned how much thought actually goes into building a brand online.
Some of the things I typically help with include...
• Designing graphics that match the overall brand and message
• Brainstorming post ideas for campaigns or special events
• Writing or helping edit captions
• Making sure content feels engaging and consistent
With this, I’ve been able to improve my creativity and also learn how to think more strategically about content.
A Supportive Mentor
One of the best parts of this experience has been how supportive Nasya is. She really values my ideas and gives feedback in a way that helps me grow instead of making me feel discouraged. She is always very supportive, which makes it easier to try new things and step outside my comfort zone.
What I’ve Learned
Working with Nasya has taught me more than just how to create content. I’ve learned how important it is to be authentic to your brand and connect with your audience in a real way. Seeing how she runs Mirakul Moments and brings her ideas to life has been really inspiring.
Looking Ahead
This mentorship has been such a valuable experience for me. I’ve been able to grow creatively, build new skills, and gain confidence in my work. It has been very eye opening being able to create content and completing asks that I will be doing in my future career. I’ve also had the chance to learn from someone who truly wants to see me succeed, and that’s made all the difference.
