About Me
Hi, my name is Madison. I am a senior at the City College of New York, majoring in advertising and public relations with a minor in journalism and women and gender studies. So far, I have had three internships. I have worked as a communications, social/digital media, and virtual and events intern. My past internships helped solidify my interest in working with community-facing organizations.
I am interested in pursuing a career in PR coordination and event marketing. This internship is a great opportunity to get familiar with the marketing and social media component that goes into planning events and building brand awareness. As I am minoring in women and gender studies, it will be nice to work with a nonprofit organization that focuses on and aids women with networking. From this internship, I hope to cultivate my skills in PR.
I graduate in May of 2027 and am excited to cultivate my skills in the communications field and prepare myself for post-grad life.
Outside of School
From Shakesphere in the park to pop-ups, I enjoy exploring New York. I love finding fun events to attend. In the summer, there is a plethora of activities to partake in.
I am a lover of fiber arts. I began crocheting two years ago. Since then, I have taken on many projects, including creating leg warmers. In addition to crochet, I knit and cross stitch. I started working on a cross-stitch piece two months ago, and I am excited to see how it will turn out.
I love reading; I am always frequenting Goodreads for recommendations. Additionally, I have recently started playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it has become one of my favorite games.

Amazingly, Women Into Networking (WIN) creates a community for female professionals. WIN provides women with a safe space that helps them achieve their goals. I am excited to start this hands-on internship and gain valuable experience in the marketing field.
