About Me:

My name is Kyndra Wonnenberg, and I am from Sioux Falls, SD. Before starting as a 2025 WINterm social media intern for the WIN (Women Into Networking) company, I had recently graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in May of 2025 where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. I majored in Media Studies with a concentration in Social Media Marketing and Event Marketing & Promotions and minored in Marketing. Along with earning my degree, I learned a lot of assets that I am now able to add to my skills. This includes video/photo editing, content creation in a variety of social media platforms, completing a content creation simulator, creating plans for events or products, working with select applications in Adobe Suite/Canva, and different styles of photography/videos.

Through my experience and time at the university, I have gained a lot of perspective on the type of work and assignments that I have completed over the past four years whether that is the quality of work, the pace of timing that I need to complete projects, and even to step out of my comfort zone and push myself to the highest standards. When I first started attending my university, I was a Business Administration major so I took a multitude of courses within business and then got involved as a Media Studies major in my 3rd semester and fell in love with the openness and freedom of what I could do. Taking courses for both majors, and marketing courses for my current major, I can say I know both sides of the spectrum. One thing about me is I will always try to go above and beyond with the work that I do. Throughout my life, I have always had a drive and desire for creativity and to do something where I can express myself. However, I am a perfectionist and some people may not take that as a good thing because of timing or being very particular about things, but in my mind, I believe it is good to want to make things look their best with every project or assignment I am working on, this is where the want to produce the highest quality of work comes to play.

My Work:

If I could, I would spend a lot of time working and finding new ways to express my creativity and try to go outside the box with my material. So far, I have been able to work on a lot of projects. This includes shooting portrait, product, macro, landscape, and long exposure photography. Graphic design is something I have dabbled in by creating ads and short videos. As for videos, I have had the opportunity to interview people in my school or local community and filmed/edited reels and TikToks. I was also given the opportunity to write articles for my university's magazine, The Vessel. Throughout the last couple of weeks of my time at USF, I was asked to be the photographer for the student-led play on campus Orpheus and Eurydice, and got to capture moments of the cast members performing.

On the business side of things, I have had the ability to create a hypothetical event putting together vendors, attendees, date/times, payment, etc. I also was able to create an invention for a class in which I went out of the box in comparison to my classmates creating a business idea. I wanted to dive deeper into the issue of food insecurity. I developed a business where people who struggle with this hardship are able to come into a store where donated foods would be available for low prices, pamphlets would be accessible with food recipes, and there would be professionals there to help them and find connections to resources (mental and financial). Within only a short few years I've been able to build my knowledge and I can't wait to see what other things I can achieve.

In the meantime, feel free to connect with me and check out my social media and website!
