The South Florida Institute on Aging(SoFIA) for over 50 years SoFIA utilizes volunteerism to meet community needs. Retirees provide tutoring and mentoring to at risk youth, companionship and respite to elderly, frail individuals and caregivers, teach technology classes, support veterans and military families and support community centers.
